conference

On November 22-23, 2016 in Milan,
the Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei and the European Commission co-organized an international conference on climate-induced migration to bring together prominent members from the academy and from organizations most involved in policy making to discuss the state-of-the-art on the topic and explore ways to contribute to migration policies with a special focus on the phenomenon of climate-induced migrations.

Conference key points

Research on migration is important and the interest in this topic has been also demonstrated by the EU, through many opportunities of funded-research on the topic, valorization of the results through workshops and the organization of conference for the dissemination of the results and the identification of the research needs.
